Cesenatico

Charm, history and tradition

The charm of the sea, combined with the traditions of the fishermen, makes Cesenatico a popular destination for tourists of all ages. Well-known personalities from the worlds of entertainment, sport, culture and politics can be seen along the Porto Canale promenade or in the Giardini del Mare, sipping coffee or relaxing on the shoreline.

Cervia

The salt of the earth

When the city was entirely surrounded by woods and forests, it is said that one of the most frequent visitors to these green spaces was the Bishop of Lodi. One day, while walking in the pine forest, a deer recognised him as a man of God and knelt down in front of him in a sign of devotion. From that day on, the city became known as Cervia. This story has convinced even the locals, and the city's coat of arms features a golden deer kneeling on green ground.

Ravenna

The city of art and culture

It is the largest and most historically significant city in Romagna, and its municipal territory is the second largest in Italy after Rome. Ravenna has been a capital city three times: during the Western Roman Empire, the Ostrogothic Kingdom, and the Byzantine Exarchate. Due to the vestiges of this glorious past, Ravenna's complex of early Christian monuments is included on the UNESCO list of Italian World Heritage Sites.

San Marino

The smallest state in Europe

Art is the most explicit manifestation of this cultural heritage: the perfectly preserved works and monuments on Monte Titano tell the whole story of this ancient republic. This starts with the three imposing towers, a symbol of this ancient city-state that has always defended its freedom and autonomy. There are also churches, palaces and beautiful squares, such as Piazza della Libertà, which offers an enchanting view of the entire valley. The museums allow visitors to learn about the past and present of San Marino.
